Although we don't live terribly far from the beach, we never go because we usually end up swimming in our pool. We decided that Elliot needed a day to enjoy the beach, so we packed up and headed out for an afternoon in the sun.

I bought a kite and took Harrison and one of his friends to the park to play and run with it. They had a blast. It surely is the simple things that make life fun with a little kid.
