This Easter was definitely a fun one. Harrison "gets" who the Easter Bunny is and he is in love with the idea of egg hunts and all things spring. Elliot doesn't know what to think about any of it yet, but he sure looks cute in bunny ears. :-)
My funny little bunny
We had Harrison's playmates over to our house for an egg hunt in the yard. They had a lot of fun running around with their baskets. (And, yes, Harrison's friends are basically all girls.)
On the hunt
Run!
I think I spotted one!
Going through the goodies
Stickers, bracelets, fruit snacks, bunny grahams, and chocolates! Cool!
Elliot enjoyed watching
Let me out of here! I want eggs too!

Our church had a big Easter event with an egg hunt, games, Easter Bunny, stories, face painting and more!
After gathering eggs
Listening to stories
Harrison had an egg painted on his cheek. It lasted about 10 seconds before he smeared it across his face.
Elliot LOVED the Easter Bunny! I thought this was especially funny because he sleeps with two bunnies in his crib every night. The boy loves bunnies!
Harrison was jealous that Elliot got to sit on the Bunny's lap.

After the Easter event at church, we colored eggs with Harrison for the first time. He had a lot of fun and he enjoyed eating them over the next few days.

Finally, it was time for the Easter Bunny to come to our house. Look at all the fun things he left for the boys! They really loved their matching pajamas. Thanks Easter Bunny!
The bunny left puffs for Elliot and a carrot full of M&M's for Harrison. Mmmmh!
On our way to church to celebrate the original Easter, or "the day Jesus went to Heaven to make us happy" (Harrison's interpretation.)
