Fall Fun

We have had a very busy fall with lots of fun activities, and I finally have some photos ready to share. Enjoy!

We had Elliot baptized on October 30th. We really wanted to have it done while he was a baby because my family has a very special baptism gown that has been worn for 4 generations now. It was hand sewn and embroidered for my grandmother in the early 1920's. It is a gorgeous family heirloom that I really wanted Elliot to share in the tradition. It was a lovely service and we celebrated with brunch with some of our friends afterward. What a wonderful way to remember my grandmother who has been gone for 7 years now.

I ran our church's pumpkin patch again this year. It was A LOT of work with a 2 year old and a newborn baby. I am glad it is over, but Harrison enjoyed all the pumpkin fun and we raised over $9,000.

Halloween came and we had a lot of fun getting dressed up and going Trick-or-Treating.
Elliot was a mini marathon runner. It was really cute when we set him on the floor and his little legs started going!
We went trick-or-treating at our grocery store and Harrison got a real cookie from Cookie Monster.
We are ready to go out trick-or-treating with our friends. Harrison was a very cute robot, but he didn't enjoy his hat.
We've got the pumpkin bucket and we're ready to rock and roll.

I took the boys on a trip to Ohio to visit family. I wanted Elliot to meet his great grandparents, great aunts and uncles, and cousins. We were so happy to see our family and we had a really nice trip.
Harrison watched movies on the airplane. He was a very good boy.

We took a trip to the Cleveland Zoo. Here is Harrison looking at the pretty fall leaves before seeing the animals.

We went to a sand castle competition on Siesta Key. It was amazing to see what these people could do with just sand and water!

Harrison and Mommy had a safari day. We made a fun hat for him to wear, then we walked through the neighborhood and found the animals that Mommy hid. When we came home we made "safari snacks" together and talked about the animals we saw. It was a fun day.
